Designed for a new generation of driving enthusiasts, the all-new Prelude revives one of Honda's most beloved coupes-this time with hybrid-electric performance and advanced chassis hardware drawn from the automaker's Type R lineage. It delivers today's cutting-edge engineering with a sleek profile, dynamic proportions, and driver-focused cockpit that evokes the spirit of the iconic original.

Performance

At the heart of the 2026 Honda Prelude lies a peppy powertrain that blends near-instant electric torque with smooth gasoline power delivery. The hybrid system combines a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors, generating a combined output of 200 horsepower and 232 pound-feet of torque.

In addition to responsive performance, the 2026 Honda Prelude delivers an engaging driving experience thanks to proven chassis hardware borrowed from the Honda Civic Type R. It features dual-axis front suspension designed to reduce torque steer and improve cornering feedback, while the wider track, performance-tuned dampers, and Brembo brakes further emphasize the sports coupe's handling prowess.
